Why this room exists.
In 1963, a woman in Dallas had to petition a court for the right to run her own business. She was a licensed real estate broker. The law called her disabled. She filed the petition, got the ruling, and went on to dominate the Dallas real estate market for decades.
She was the great-grandmother of my best friend. We called her Granny Sinclair. She taught me that sometimes the best thing you can do is create the space and let people walk in.
The Signal Room is that space. For women who are building something and want a room where the questions are real and the people in it have been where you are.
Bring a problem you solved this week that you are proud of. Bring the question you are afraid sounds too basic to ask out loud. I do not promise to have all the answers. I promise to figure them out with you, or follow up until we do.
